GAD’s Eskisehir Hotel and Spa completed in 2013 was featured in the article “Thermal Spa Architecture: 10 Must-See Projects” on the Domus website. GAD’s design for the spa, wellness center, and hotel draws on the thermal water resources, regional architecture, and existing historical fabric of Turkey’s Odunpazari region in the city of Eskisehir in Western Anatolia.

The GAD Foundation has engaged in a strategic partnership with the Japanese based FANUC Corporation the world’s largest manufacturer of automation products and services such as robotics and computer numerical control systems. The first phase of the collaboration with FANUC was the training of young architects from GAD at FANUC’s training facilities in Istanbul. Architects were exposed to FANUC’s range of CNC machines and robots used in factory automation and industrial robotics. In the coming year The GAD Foundation will work with FANUC to develop programs to implement robotics in the design and construction process.

The GAD RIT Kosovo competition winning proposal for the Rochester Institute of Technology Kosovo campus has been awarded a grant by the American Schools and Hospitals Abroad.

After a few years of searching, we found a building that lifts the vehicles up to the floors instead of the structures designed as parking on the ground floor. Since the public can’t serve quickly in haste, the owners decided to change the function of the building.

The GAD Foundation organised a lecture by Ferda Kolatan for October 4th, 2018 at Istanbul Technical University, Taskisla campus in Istanbul entitled “Hybrids and Crossbreeds, A Case for Ambiguous Architecture”.
