GAD’s AHK Kundu Eco-Friendly Villa Highlighted on RETALK by Williams Media Network

GAD has long specialized in ecological architecture on the Mediterranean. One of the most distinctive built works designed by GAD is the AHK Kundu project of ecological villas set on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. These sustainable villas built in 2016 in Antalya, Turkey as a part of the AHK KNDU VILLAS project were presented on the noted global property development news web site RETALK MENA of the Williams Media Network. The article penned by Julian Walker of Spot Blue International Property highlighted green design pedigree of the design GAD’s award-winning design.

Turkish Riviera villa built with eco-friendly materials celebrates the outstanding attributes of Antalya.

Designed by GAD Architecture, this award-winning property by the beach in Antalya, Turkey has a jacuzzi and a gym, and is for sale by Spot Blue International Property.

This villa is built with eco-friendly materials, is well located near the sea, transport and entertainment and is close to Antalaya. Built over 3 floors, with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, plus a cloakroom WC, the master bedroom and two more of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. It also has large terraces, a private heated pool, an open plan kitchen/dining area with a breakfast bar and a sun room. There is a large living / dining room as well as a Jacuzzi room and a gym. This home also features Smart home automation, floor heating and central cooling.

The PRIVE/L type design, part of an internationally awarded residential project by GAD Architecture, and this community, KNDU Villas, consists of 4 large homes, 22 medium villas and 12 small size villas. Purchasers of the villas are given choices in interior design finishes such as floors, kitchen surfaces and tiling. There are 38 villa properties in total with the overall design emphasising diversity in styles and floor plans, guaranteeing that the neighbourhood is varied to avoid blanket uniformity. The modern architectural structure goes hand in hand with sustainable, ecological and green design. The timber cladding, Solar PV and clerestory window choices are environmentally friendly, and due to these considerations, the community has achieved BREEAM certification.

The project is situated close to the Antalaya city centre, yet feels like a River retreat, and is only 500 metres from the sea. Antalya has a prominent position on the Turkish Riviera; therefore, marinas and yachting form the local lifestyle. It is also the starting location for the official Lycian Way trekking route. Antalya City Centre is the most populated seaside location in Turkey, with more than a million inhabitants. It has all the modern facilities, including large shopping malls and a transport network that extends to the rest of the region and other locations within Turkey.
